We love Thai food. We ate here in early April the meal was very good. We came back the next night and the restaurant was closed for family emergency. We went back a third time in late April and had papaya salad and egg rolls, both of which were good. We then ordered one of their specialties: roast duck.
When it arrived, we noted that it was a small duck cut into quarters, as opposed to slices of duck that you normally find. We each took one bite and immediately spit it out. The duck was very old and spoiled. (It seemed older than me and I am on Social Security.) We asked for the bill and wanted to leave. The owner/chef came out and asked us what was wrong. We told him. He offered to cook another, as it our duck had a younger relative in the fridge. The owner reminded us that he has studied to be a chef in his home country of Morocco, not Thailand. We asked for the bill and wanted to leave. He brought the bill without charging us for the duck, but asked us not to write up a description of this restaurant. We did not agree. It might be that they do not serve duck often and it was just very old and badly prepared. In any event, it should never have been served. We will never go back.
