  • I moved from MI to AZ earlier this year. I purchased a home in Anthem, AZ which has an in-ground pool. This is the first time I have owned a pool, so I continued with weekly pool service with the company Murphy's Pool Service that the previous owners used for years. I was skeptical at first to pay $25 a week for a service, which I thought was probably an easy and quick process, and something I could do myself or cut back to once a month. After six weeks I have to say I was wrong and could not be happier with Murphy's Pool Service for a number of reasons. First of all, John comes every week at the same time. He does everything necessary to make sure my pool is clean, safe and operating correctly. He is at my home for about 15 minutes every week and leaves details about what he did. He answers my questions, takes time to show me things (like how to turn on the heater etc.) and helps me out with non-pool issues, like suggesting local companies or repairs. He is also so nice to my dog!! I was able to set up online payments and it is easy to contact the company with questions, which both time were answered quickly. I requested to have someone come out to show me everything about the operation of my pool. Yesterday, the owner Josh Murphy came over and spent time going over all the settings and functionality of the pool (filter, pump, lights, fountain, jets, bubbler, water filler etc.). He took the time to explain to me the cost of running everything and ways to turn things on and off. He did all of this as a service at NO additional CHARGE! Who does that? It is a real bargain at only $25.00 a week to have peace of mind knowing my pool is safe and running efficiently. Thank you Murphy's Pool for allowing me more time to relax by the pool and enjoy my retirement. I highly recommend this company!
