Happily breezed through a critical interview that morning, so my husband took me here to day drink and grub. Ingo's is a super cute corner cafe, with nice patio seating that I wish I could've enjoyed today, had I brought another sweater with me. Playlist is mellow and feel-good, and service was pleasant.
It was Happy Hour, so my 2 cocktails were only $6 each. The Ingo's Greyhound is a pretty pink drink with a great grapefruit flavor. Their moscow mule tasted quite unique because of the rather strong muddled ginger. It sort of worked for me, but I don't imagine it would for the usual mule drinker. Hubby had the Ska Brewery Modus Hoperandi IPA for $5.
Our food was BANGIN'! Hubby had the Paris Texas Cheeseburger and I had the Crispy Chicken Sammy ($8.50 whaaaattt). Don't let the sandwich sizes fool you! Both were so juicy and flavorful, you'll be comfortably satisfied at the end of the meal. Oh, and those thick-cut potato chips with ranch and salsa verde dips are awesome to share and start with.
