| - Given all of the other grocery stores in the vicinity, you would think these guys would up their game. I guess they have a captured audience.
First, selection is fine, but nothing to write home about (aside from the expired items already pointed out). Nothing special stocked to make you want to come back.
The store is a typical store and cleanliness is fine.
So why 2 stars? The service. The people working there, and I hate saying this, were pitiful. Everyone seemed offended that were in their store and they may have to do something. ALL of them. They would move quickly to avoid you. They ignored us when asking questions. A couple were talking to each other when we approached. We stood patiently waiting for the Cav' discussion to end and then when it did, they looked at us and then left. It was crazy.
Lastly, to the 16 year old cashier, tall with long hair. We hoped in line. We were 3rd. Person up front got checked through. Next person get there and they begin. I am talking to my 8 year old when all of the sudden I hear some strange noise. The girl is actually leaning over the register area snapping her fingers at me and making clacking noises with her mouth at us to get our attention. When I look up, she does her little raised eyebrow, head swivel thing to make sure I know she has just turned off the light and will not be serving us. The next line I hoped into, well, she was nicer but not interested and getting anyone out the door in short order.
So bottom line, if the areas is flooded and there are no other shops around and they are the only place with power, I might...might go back...but I doubt it.
