Always good and always a great place to eat lunch - or dinner as well. We went here yesterday after a not so great trip to Walnut Wednesday and as always, West Side Market never disappoints.
My husband is obsessed over the stand where you can get stuffed chicken wings- totally don't know any of the names of the places as I am too busy watching people and dodging people and really, just eating . However, the wings are a steal and boneless and stuffed with egg roll filling- yummy. My kids love the beef jerky - the one Michael Symon is a fan of- got two pounds of this bad boy.
We also tried a new crepe place and while the crepes were good, it took way too long for my liking . I personally can stuff my face with every baked good there but actually used some restraint and had a gyro- which was amazingly good. We did cap it all off with pierogis from Pierogi Palace and that's a name I know and love for sure as we go to this one and the one on Vine Street at times. The cherry pie ones are the best.
Wish I could say that we left with armfuls of veggies and fruit- that would be a lie however. We did leave with lots of jerky and Chinese and pierogis and that's fine with us . Worth the trip any day of the week. Just wish it was closer to me....
