  • So much regret coming to this place. Wanted to try a nicer looking karaoke lounge and heard that this one was pretty live...unfortunately it was only the cleanliness of the place that saved this review from being 1-star. When I go out to karaoke with my friends, there are a few things I look out for: 1. Pricing options -- Most karaoke places will have options to pay per hour, or per person, or per room, etc. This place gave us only one option on a friday night; $25 per person. Wow. Expensive much? We took it anyway in hopes that it would be worth it. Turns out we were wrong. 2. Working karaoke machine (yes, this includes the remote control) -- Our remote control was absolutely horrendous. It lagged like no tomorrow, and we wasted at least half an hour trying to get our first song to play. Queueing was a nightmare. We ended up having to switch remotes with the service guy...In the last hour or so our machine audio also broke down and we were asked to move to another room. We just asked for the bill at that point. 3. A decent menu -- Well, a menu that actually has the food it advertises. Especially if you're gonna be forced to buy. Although the $25 per person included any food/drink up to that amount, it really was a sad group of orders. Of course we decided to look down the list of $7-$10 shots to start (quickest way to use up that $25!) but out of the 5 that were listed, they only had 2 available...(really?) Same thing happened with the food and non-alcoholic drinks..seemed as though half of their menu items were just for show. Even more disappointing--the kamikazes we ended up getting had little to no alcoholic content. Definitely not $7 worth of a shot. 4. Service -- was okay. The guy who tended to us came promptly whenever we called for service, but didn't seem to know much about anything. That included song options, food/drink menu items and the bill... If you look past all of the above, it was an okay experience. Karaoke is karaoke, we still had our fun. What was frustrating was really the $25 price tag that went along with it--which none of the above made worthwhile. For a much cheaper price I would definitely go somewhere else, where my expectations probably wouldn't be as high to begin with.
