  • My husband and I decided to come to Pisces last minute and were surprised that we were able to make a reservation without trouble on Saturday night. It was restaurant week last week and the menu looked incredible. To my delight, every dish on the restaurant week menu was also on the main dining menu. I think when a restaurant tries to create "features" for restaurant week, instead of highlighting great dishes from their menu, it's a great disservice to the restaurant and customers who are there to gauge the quality of the restaurant and it's food. How else would you know if it is worth coming back to a restaurant if you can't even sample the food on their everyday menu!? Regardless, that was NOT the case at Pisces!! First off, the service was incredible. A girl named, Crystal, I believe was our waitress. We were seated in a place where the AC was blasting and she was really sweet and turned the temperature up slightly so I wouldn't freeze to death! She was very attentive and easy to speak with throughout dinner. I can't say enough good things about the sushi!!! We ordered the tuna tataki and the A2 appetizers and sushi rolls (the Screaming "O", panthers, and the big salmon roll). The Screaming "O" was hands down the best roll and the A2 (sashimi tuna) was the best appetizer. But really, pretty much ALL OF the food and wine was great. The fish was fresh and had the right fish to rice ratio with the rolls. There is nothing more disappointing than a place that skimps on the sushi and makes the rolls laden with rice. Needless to say, we will definitely coming back to have sushi and drinks at this wonderful place!! I have been to Pisces before for cocktails in the evening and it is a great place to bring your friends for drinks. The decor is modern (on the lounge side) and it is dimly lit, so provides a great ambiance for small groups or a date.
