  • "Hi! And welcome to Sunrise!" So genuinely friendly. My first visit, but the chit-chat while ordering was so warm and comfortable, it made me feel right at home. Todays coffee is single-bean, sustainably-sourced from Guatemala. I am not a coffee nut, but they were so proud to tell me about the coffee, so I listened. And now, I think I care a little but more. Food, atmosphere and people are all vegan-friendly, but not in that judgemental, over-bearing way. They're just happy. The music is happy. The tip jar is happy, and unsurprisingly overflowing. Food is good (3.5 stars) but the atmosphere is overpowering positive. I'm 5 stars even before I took a sip or a bite.
