I am a medievalist by training. So it was inevitable that I would make it to the Cleveland Museum of Art one day, even if it was just to see the armor exhibit.
It was a bit of a pain to find parking on a Saturday afternoon, but honestly, we weren't horribly familiar with University Circle, so that was probably just our inability to find available parking. We were impressed that there is no admission charge but did choose to put some money in the donation box on the way out. We also picked up an audio guide to help us along the way. I'm not normally an audio guide person but it was enjoyable.
If you do nothing else, make sure you see the armor...it's one of the best exhibits in the country. However, we spent four hours and barely scratched the surface of the museum. Hopefully one day we'll get back to explore.
