  • Solar City may be a great company but their employees, in particular their sales department, are BY FAR the rudest, cheapest, lowest scumbags on the planet. I have been doing business with Solar City for over 2 years and each time I ask to be transferred to the tech department for help/assistance. They are MORE Knowledgeable and MUCH MUCH MUCH nicer to talk to. Avoid a headache. Avoid stress. And avoid giving their sales team any commission. They don't deserve a penny from your pocket. Trust me when I say this: meet one of their sales reps in real life and you'll find them as awful in person as they are on the phone. If I can recommend anything, refer yourself to tech support for any of your needs. EVEN SALES! And if she's working, ask for Tanya Morris. She seems to be the only one who knows how to do her job correctly and politely. Going green has to come with a price. It's terrible, rude, impolite, and an expensive service. In my opinion, invest in wind power.
