Went to browse the men's clothing the other day and was shocked that the regular price tags on t-shirts were $9.99 with a price markup sticker of $12.99 next to it. When I inquired asking which price was correct, I was told $12.99 because they had to adjust for all the extreme markdowns they did during the holidays. The "regular Down East tag" says $9.99. Clearly not a markdown, but the actual tag price that was used well before the holidays. So....30% markup on name brand store rejected men's t-shirts.... I'll pass.
After seeing this price gauge technique, I won't be returning. Loyal customer lost.
