I really like this gym. The pros outweigh the cons. For the summer I needed childcare. The ladies there are ALL amazing and so sweet! My kids are older and always dread going to these places but they actually enjoyed coming here.
The equipment is decent and when they break they have a decent turn around time to fix and replace.
This is by no means a high end gym but it has the essentials to get you in shape and meet your needs.
I love that there is a ladies only room but I really wish the equipment wasn't from the 80's/90's? Lol and the free weights are like an OCD's nightmare. Weights don't correspond because we have the mish mosh of hand me downs.
As far as pricing I have no complaints!!!! You guys! They explain everything thoroughly in the beginning! Sure they advertise at 9.99 to get you in the door but of course be prepared for conditions. Gym equipment is so expensive, then maintenance then replacements and paying staff to keep everything sanitary and clean. I think it's all fair. They have promotions now and then so just check with them. I initially paid $75 including Initiation fee,lock-in fee, first month and unlimited monthly childcare. (They had a special) after that I paid around $30. Now that school is starting I don't need child care. It's now going to drop to under $20 a month. It's so worth it! My plan includes cardio equipment and classes. My husband wasn't interested in classes so he opted for 9.99 plan but his initial payment cost more like $120 I think.
I've taken 1 class and it was a cycle class. Omg the instructor was intense and motivating.. whoa! Awesome class. Once the kids start school I'm going to take her classes regularly. I can't remember her name though! But I remember it was a Tues. at 9:30.
Anyway, I'm happy with this gym. Gets the job done at a decent price. If they charged more then I would expect more.
