  • My wife and I visited this place. In Hawaii, it is illegal to have any full auto firearms. So we had a blast shooting the MG42, M60, and P90. We even shot the .50 cal because the rounds were half the price of what they cost in Hawaii. Doug was our instructor and I am familiar with firearms, but my wife isn't. He had a lot of patience with her and was very helpful. She had a difficult time looking through the scope of the .50cal. She is a lefty, but uses her right eye to shoot. He corrected her to use her left eye. She couldn't see the cross-hairs so he drew on a piece of paper what she should be seeing. This process took a few minutes just to fire 1 .50cal shot. So like I said above, he was very patient with her. Also what separates Battlefield from other ranges is that they pick you up and drop you off for free in a HMMWV. That was cool also. Since we saved money on a cab ride, we spend a little more at the range. Next time I'm in Vegas, I will come back and shoot other full auto firearms.
