| - As the old ad slogan "when it absolutely positively has to be there overnight" is no longer in use, ANYTHING U WANT DELIVERY could easily adapt it to tell their story in one accurate tag line: "when it absolutely positively has to be there in an hour."
I live in a large East Coast city and needed to get a special gift to a relative in Las Vegas who just underwent difficult surgery. This is not something the multitudes of generic basket, cookie, or fruit companies could provide or deliver. And, for several reasons it was very important that the gift arrived by tomorrow.
So here on the East Coast, I made my purchase and took the package to my local F**E* Office -- where I was told it would not be picked up until tomorrow because today was Labor Day and therefore it would not be delivered until Wednesday. While I often cry about the loss of loved ones, death and destruction around the world, romantic movies, puppies playing, broken bones etc --i don't recall ever weeping because F**E* wouldn't deliver. Of course there were a few extenuating circumstances. But there I was sitting in my car, crying my eyes out, on my mobile and trying to find a delivery company that could do it. Not even F**E*same day service would deliver - because I do not have an account with enough shipping history to qualify.
I absolutely acknowledge that I didn't know that that the same company that delivers boxes on snowy Christmas mornings, would not be picking up or delivering today. Of course Labor Day is a solemn and important holiday and not just an opportunity for lawn and garden stores to move the dregs of their summer stuff at 70% off.
Sorry, back to ANYTHING U WANT DELIVERY.
I left the F**E* parking lot (tears still flowing) to make my way home when I had the brainstorm that maybe the gift I had already purchased here could be purchased (again) locally in Las Vegas, picked up, and delivered TODAY. To the Internet I went, found a reasonable substitution for the gift I had already purchased, and went to Yelp to find a courier to take care of the most important part.
There are reasons ANYTHING U WANT DELIVERY is on top of the list: the company is efficient, courteous, reasonably priced, thorough, appropriately communicative, and followed up when the gift reached it's recipient. I wish I had this kind of service available to me here.
ANYTHING U WANT DELIVERY IS number one. I'm certain they consider that they just did their job. To me, they delivered not just a gift in tangible package, but a long lost concept that is often harder to find then a company who will deliver on Labor Day: exceptional service and pride in their product.
