  • If I had a nickel for every time I said, "I just want a place to go dance where I am not expected to wear a tube sock for a dress, dodge endless tube sock wearing Angelinos and subject myself to tactics generally reserved for bovines," I would have a lot of nickels. Alas, the nickel train has run dry because I can no longer complain. We have Wish, which is a spot where you can go (Wednesday-Saturday) and a. not wait in a line generally only witnessed at Apple Stores, b. pay a stupid cover, and c. wear pants and not feel unworthy. Also, the music isn't too loud. You can actually have a conversation. I have been on several different nights, always early in the evening, and so far it is not super crowded, so if you're looking for the ultimate hook up spot, perhaps go later or go stand in line on The Strip, but if you're just looking for a chill spot with plenty of space to dance and reasonably priced drinks, then this is the spot you and I have been wishing for.
