Aside from the parking lot that is kinda a pain until you are familiar, this is a nice mall. Big and bright w/pretty seasonal and special event displays (ie: when Wicked was in CLT there was a walk thru feature).
Good mix of higher end stores (Coach....excuse me while I get a hanky, I'm drooling) and stores for the budget minded (Payless, 21) w/o being as high dollar as S. Park. I can't help but feel this mall is more geared toward the high school and early college crowd b/c sooo many stores are of the A&F variety (read: loud, overpriced and clothes that don't seem to last). That said, the powers-that-be enacted a curfew for kids under 18 and won't hesitate to toss really obnoxious kids. Bathrooms and play area are cleaned often.
The movie theater is nice but concessions are ridiculously overpriced and they don't allow food from neighboring establishments (unlike Phillips Place which allows frozen yogurt from their neighbor, Pinkberry). The food court is standard junk food and faux ethnic cuisine but the restaurants around the mall are good in variety and price, but they get packed so arrive early for a meal or be ready to wait.
