  • There are several reasons why I am a fan of Winco Foods. Starting with the following: 1. Great prices on produce, 2. Great quality produce, 3. Bulk item (I will explain why I like this area later), 4. Good quality deli meats (sliced when ordered), 5. Good pricing in general on products (not just produce), and 6. 24 hours Now, the explanation on bulk. Winco has a large section with bulk items such candy, nuts, cereal, and spices. In this section, containers are provided and customers can measure out how much of an item they need. I find this especially useful for spices and nuts because so many recipes call for items that are not "staples" or infrequently used and this keeps customer from having to buy more of an item than needed for the recipe. I love this because I bake and I'm always in need of random spices. Now for negatives... I can think of two off hand but neither one bothers me much. First they do not accept credit cards at Winco and second you have to bag your own groceries. Other than those two things I think this store is pretty great. I always get great prices from Winco and great quality produce even on items that are not in season. I would have to say they have the best produce I purchased in Las Vegas. I would recommend Winco to anyone who lives near a location and I will continue to shop here.
