I cannot even provide one star for them, but had to for Yelp posting. Should be no stars !!
Their sales / estimator came out and provided a written estimate and demonstrated the methods of protection that they employ. All sounded very good.
Scheduled the move and was provided date and time with a one hour window for arrival. Great !!
Moving day came and I had to call the estimator at 9:30 to find out where the crew was. 15 minutes later I got a call back saying they were short staffed and would arrive at 11. Scheduled time was 8-9. Crew didn't arrive till 12:30. The guys who came were nice enough and respectful but were under a time crunch due to over scheduling by their office. They actually had just left a prior move and had no time for a lunch break before getting to my home. So we provided lunch for the crew.
As for the protection protocol, I would strongly suggest that this company dictate to their crews what they are telling the clients as the crew does not follow what your estimator said would be done to protect the home on the way out and on the way in at the new place.
I actually had to ask them to put the floor protection down at the new house when they started moving articles in without it.
Again, I believe that the problems are with the main office and not the crews doing the actual work.
Provide your employees with the same info that you are selling to the client. It's called systems and processes.
Also communicate with your customers. If you are running late make a phone call. You gave me the time frame, I did not dictate it to you. Unfortunate that I had to call to find out if you were even coming to conduct the move in the first place.
Should have canceled and called my bank to file claim for the deposit I provided.
Never again !!!!!
