  • With plenty of great restaurants in downtown Charlotte, this is not where I'd choose to eat a regularly scheduled meal. On the other hand, at two o'clock on a chilly December morning I can't imagine anything better than a hot, tightly wrapped philly cheese steak pita sandwich from the Pita Pit. There might be a long line, but it's totally worth it.
