As a native of the area, I remember the stockyards operating back in the day. On a hot summer day, us kids would hold our noses when we'd drive by!
Am so grateful this valley landmark has survived so graciously over the generations so visitors and locals can enjoy a real steakhouse with flavorful cuts of properly aged meat in an elegant historical atmosphere.
There's no cattle shipping pens anymore, but the quality of beef Stockyards serves takes me back to the days when the restaurant was full of cattlemen - the kind that take their hat off indoors!
