I think the general consensus is that Holt Renfrew sucks. Not the products, but their staff and service. It was horrible at Sherway and it's even worse here at Sq1. Thank god Saks and Nordstrom has entered the Canadian luxury market.
The lady at the Charlotte Tilbury counter is sweet and very helpful. I got my makeup done by another girl one day though and she did such a horrible job I was so embarrassed. Drove home and wiped that sh*t right off.
The salespeople at Gucci should be fired. Honestly. So incompetent. Last year my boyfriend bought me a bag and it came in a box. No dustbag, authenticity card - nothing. He bought me another one this year and I wanted to upgrade it to the next size up. They didn't have it in stock so naturally I asked for a refund so I can order it off Gucci myself. They were so hard up on their 14 day return policy even though I was just a few days over. While I can respect store policies, some exceptions can be made especially if within reason. I was willing to spend more money but because they were so gung ho on their commission they would only offer a credit. Great way to ensure I never buy a damn thing from them ever again. I ended up buying a Louis on Bloor St from a salesperson who deserved her commission.
