| - They have a "People Love us on Yelp!" sticker on their window, and I really think they stole it from some other business that actually deserved it. When you see this sticker on a business's window, it is usually quite apparent why people love them so much. This place.....I don't really know what's to love so much.
I, too, purchased the Groupon that was $99 for 6 laser hair removal treatments in 2 areas. When I called to schedule my first appointment, the receptionist was pretty nice to me, and she was able to get me in within the next week.
I have done 5 out of the 6 treatments so far, and I am very pleased with the results. They advertise their laser as "painless." Well, it's definitely NOT painless, but as the treatments go on, the pain decreases with each one, and it's really not that bad. I would recommend laser hair removal to anyone that I know.
I have had 3 or 4 different technicians do the treatments on me, since I never requested a particular person, and they have all been female, and pretty friendly, although no nonsense about getting you in and out. Each treatment takes about 10 minutes.
However, like other Yelpers, I think that the front-desk staff needs to be re-trained in customer service. I am treated like I am a huge pain in their asses when I am always on-time and polite. I don't know if they only treat people who bought the Groupon this way, or all of their customers, but all of the women at the front desk have this snarky attitude like I am inconveniencing them SOOO much.
Isn't the point of Groupon to attract new customers with a deeply discounted price and then make them happy so they keep coming back and paying full price? I understand that the Groupon that I bought is a SCREAMING deal for laser hair removal, and they are not making as much money off of me as they would be from a customer who is paying full price, but I don't feel like I need to be treated so terribly by the receptionists here. They have achieved the opposite of new business with me....I now love laser hair removal but if I ever decide to get it in another area or get a touch-up, I will be SURE to take my business somewhere else where I will feel at least a little welcomed.
