  • Phoenix has always had a surprising number of adult sex shops. Growing up here was unique especially after moving away and not seeing similar penetration in other regions. Fascinations has taken up the gauntlet catering to more couples and women compared to the classic Castle stores. Even with the online market decimating the industry, this location on Scottsdale Road in south Scottsdale is still stimulating the economy. Fascinations has always catered to a more female audience. I had time to kill before my flight, so I decided to take a peek. Their selection of toys and clothing is fairly impressive with some very high quality options available. Seeing a wall of "insertables" and amateur BDSM gear for the first time is weird, but after living near San Francisco seems somewhat quaint and charming. This chain is very clean and friendly catering to the beginners. Service was very open and honest for the material. There is a section for males, although the overwhelming focus of the store is female centric - even for the male gear and clothing. If you are looking to spice things up in the bedroom, dining room, or heated garage dungeon, taking a trip to Fascinations may be the climax of your day!
