rev:text	Confusion and mediocre food. The only saving grace was our server - Kindra. Our visit was on Feb 26, 2015. We have been to the East Charleston several times and loved it. We were looking forward to visiting this location for some time. When our city councilman scheduled a meeting there it was the perfect opportunity to go. Arrived an hour before the meeting around 5 for an early dinner. I told the hostess we were there for the meeting and dinner....confusion. She then escorted us to a nice long (high) table in the bar area and said 'They are going to meet here'. No menu's. A server stopped by and asked why we were sitting there so I pointed in the direction of the hostess.....still no menus. The bartender asked us what we would like to drink and recommended the Hurricane. Asked for a menu and did not get one...he also asked why were sitting there. Mind you the place is empty at this point. Now there is a major discussion amongst the troops. Finally our server brought our drinks and whaa -la...menu's. BTW the drinks were horrible @ $10 each. Not even close to Pat O'Briens. I asked if we should move. "No, No you guys are ok there." Next to visit our table was the bar manager asking the same question. Ugh. We about had it with all this confusion. We ordered; Craw puppies..they were rather bland but saved by the dipping sauce ($5.29), a crab cake appetizer which tasted like tuna...no chunks of crab ($6.99), and finally to complete the misery Jambalaya which was so dried out and gummy. I think it was leftover and warmed in a microwave ($10.29, plus $4.29 for three shrimp) The dish did have nice seasoning and chunks of sausage (not cajun) but rather dried out. Now the place is filling up and four additional folks were seated at our table. Which was fun at first...until the (older) gentleman started complaining out loud that he got there an hour early to sit at 'this' table. The two ladies that he was with were rather embarrassed. Guess who stopped by next? Lola. She stood by our table and asked if we were going to be done soon as there was a large party scheduled. I mentioned what had happened earlier and that we were questioned about our location. I also stated that most restaurants have a staff pre-shift meeting to go over specials, parties, meetings....etc so at least her hostess would know what was going on. We then ajourned to the meeting room and had a nice time with our city councilman. Our server was fantastic and the only saving grace for the evening. She knew the menu and visited our table several times. I did mention the 'food' and she offered to adjust the bill but we declined and just recommended that she speak to the cook. The final masterstroke of confusion was this; By the front door was a chalkboard announcing that there was going to be a dinner with a wine pairing featuring Lohr wines for somewhere around $30/person. Nice. I asked Lola on the way out what was on the menu for the affair. She did not know....."call back". The place is big with a nice bar. There is a grill where the servers prepare the garlic toast. The meeting room is large with easy access to the bar and dining area. Overall it's a typical Summerlin/Sun City/Denny's kind of place with marginal food but great service. Sorry...but this location does not hold a candle to the east Charleston eatery. BTW...the 'large party' was Purdue alums there to watch a b-ball game. Sorry for the confusion.....
