| - I had an extremely bad experience with Absolute Dental on West Cheyenne. My son had two bad teeth that needed repair. My wife and I had to put the work on the back burner due to severe illnesses in our household. I am recovering from late stage cancer, and my wife from a broken neck. When we went for our appointment, they took my son in and they worked on the wrong tooth. They told us that his bad tooth wasn't as bad as the other one. They proceeded to work on the second tooth first. The next day, my son's bad tooth fell out. When I dropped my son off, I told them that I would be right back, that I had to go and make a deposit to add a little bit of money (I was 32.00 shy in my account) and that I would be back to pay them when I picked my son up. When I arrived, I paid them a check for 800. They said that they didn't want a check. And they didn't trust me. I told them that I would make a withdrawal across the street and bring back cash. They didn't want cash. Credit card only. They didn't trust me. I am disabled and living on a very tight budget, but we saved up almost 2000 for the necessary work. I told them to take the check or nothing at all. The following week, My son went back for his second appointment. Upon finishing, we asked how much the bill was. We were told that the first 800 covered both visits. The next day, I received a phone call from their office asking for the other 800. I explained what happened and what we were told. I also mentioned that I had saved up the money, they told me I did not owe it, and I paid off other bills with it. I mentioned that I had no problem paying the bill, but in interest free payments because it was their mistake originally. They then told me that they would send me out a payment book. Which they never did. Two weeks later, I went to co-sign for my son a new car. Guess what? They put a derogatory remark on my credit report. Hence, no car. I was very embarrassed We paid 800 to have a tooth destroyed, the second tooth that was the only one worked on was done improperly, they insinuated I was giving them a bad check, then they told me the first payment covered both visits. Then, I was told a day after the second visit that now we all of a sudden owed them the second 800. Then the payment arrangement was never finished on their end, they just put it on my credit report. They also accused my son of taking drugs. This is the kid that served as my caregiver and stayed home for a year with no friends over. This is the kid that started college at 15. He is no early 20's and in grad school, so I am assisting. All in all, in the end. I paid 800 to get the wrong tooth fixed, the correct tooth fell out the next day, they embarrassed my son, they embarrassed me, they reported to the credit agencies after making a billing mistake. And somehow, they feel that I still owe another 800. Anyone with issues involving Absolute Dental, can file a complaint against them at the "State of Nevada Department of Professional Regulation. They will be investigated and a determination will be made. We all DO have recourse. My other son is a lawyer, I don't expect too awful many problems with these idiots. I wouldn't let my dog go there. And, my son could've received better dental care at our Vet.
