Ted is a great guy and has a great business model- he doesn't sell bikes, but you will find some parts and accessories hanging up. The world needs more places like this, so I'd recommend him to anyone. You get a fair price, fair assessment, and straight talk. My single complaint is a problem I seem to find with even the best bike repair shops: they can sometimes be a little rough on the bicycle novice. I've gotten more than one raised eyebrow and confused look when I didn't know the difference between a freewheel and freehub, or if I had a double or compact double chainset. I bike for my commute, so I'm certainly no expert (which is why I'm paying someone to work on it anyway), but maybe save the judgement for something more important.
This that single complaint isn't enough to sour my view of Ted's work, though. Thumbs up from me. Keep it up, Ted.
