| - Came in here to pick up some food and couldn't have been more pleased. This place is slamming! Great vibe and lively atmosphere for a pizza joint. Everyone here is super nice.
I was a bit iffy about ordering a pie to go, but it wasn't for me so who cares right? Who am I kidding? I know I'm going to have one regardless.
Of course i saw meatballs on the menu, and if you know me I'm a sucker for protein in all form and shape. The bartender told me that they do not use bread crumbs in their recipes. Even better, and man, were they worth it! Each bite were divine, and the marinara sauce was a great addition. They give you plenty. I had enough sauce to make sure each bite was coated for maximum decomposition. Heck, it was even a dipping sauce for my pizza crust! Zing! Choice of lollipop or in a bread roll.
Our Big Apple Pizza aka meat lovers came NY style thin crust.. It had Ham, Pepperoni, Sausage, Meatball, and lots of Basil. Sooo good that i wanted another slice, but fortunately for me it was all gone before i could do myself anymore harm. The pie was a bit soggy in the middle, but i think it was due to all the hearty toppings. Then again it could have been more mushy if it wasn't for the neo mesh (aka honeycomb) underneath the pizza. The mat helps fend off the condensation, so our happy pizza kept us happy. Kudos to Dom DeMarco's for being thoughtful.
While waiting for my order i had a good convo with the bartender. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and even gave me a little extra 411 about the place. Like how they use ingredients imported from Italy, and how they use a water filtration system that mimic the water in NY. Just some of the measure they use to mirror their pizza in NY which happen to be voted #1 by Zagat.
Verdict: My new Pizza Spot!
