| - We were combing through reviews and suggestions on where to have Sunday Brunch in Madison. We finally decided to give Graze a go because someone in our party was familiar with Chef Tory. We were seated immediately by a pleasant hostess. It was a relatively small specialized menu (which makes sense for the type of place it was). One of guests had a few restrictions, which did make it a bit hard. The staff didn't really seem to want to work with her on that. We found that a bit surprising. We ordered the fried cheese curds, the french toast sticks, beet salad, beet veggie burger, and bacon & eggs. The cheese curds were absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. The french toast sticks were really disappointing. We expected something moist and tasty, instead were met with dry, bland, expensive for what they were (3 sticks). I would not recommend anyone get them, perhaps opt for the sticky bun. The veggie burger was good, but I was surprised they used American cheese to top it off. It really cheapens the whole thing. The bacon was severely undercooked, I was shocked. In the restaurant's defense, the person who ordered it didn't want to send it back, so they didn't have a chance to rectify it. The beet salad was good, albeit expensive again for the size. I feel like a goat cheese would've complemented it better than the Greek yogurt, but it's not my restaurant. We weren't overly impressed with the server, which kind of rounds out this whole experience with two stars. Maybe I'd consider it a three, but not sure I'd be going back anytime soon to try again. Oh, the view with the large windows and capitol right behind it make for an awesome ambiance!
