  • Situated next to the Heart Attack Grill in the Fremont Experience, Banger Brewing offers some of the best beer around. They have their own brews along with rotating guest brews at affordable prices. It's a good idea to try a flight (four small glasses with different brews in each one) to sample a variety and determine your sweet spot. They also offer growlers that you can fill once you've chosen your favorite brew. They have an outdoor seating area. There is a pop-up food vendor to order gnoshes. The one downside (and the reason this isn't a five-star review) is they don't serve hard liquor and they won't let people bring in their outside drink or give you a plastic cup to take your brew away). If you're with a group that doesn't drink beer, they grossly limit your ability to enjoy yourself. Any other place, this criticism would be unreasonable, but this place is located in the heart of Fremont where you can drink on the street and move about from place to place. By being so rigid, they put a damper on the spirit of the venue.
