Went to Millenniums for a quick nail job (manicure). Was by the Walmart where I'd been shopping.
I went twice.
First visit: was upsold to a shellac which looked great. Not much colour selection for Shellac but definitely well done (by the most senior professional there who insisted I do Shellac to grow my nails and then revert to a regular manicure at the next visit). She was clearly experienced, even training a new arrival. My nails had a great sheen and were polished, pun intended.
The next visit was disappointing. Was assigned the trainee, the very one who was watching my shellac weeks before. She didn't apply the colour well, she nicked my nails a couple times and had to fix it, and everything was peeling by the next day, in chunks. Was costly for a regular manicure- wish I'd stuck to the same formula as day 1 (pro and shellac).
Cautionary tale. Be particular about your nail professional (anyone but the girl who literally arrived the other day) and look closely at the finished product because if it's not flawless, it will fall apart in no time.
