This place is kind of pricey but good. Golden steer is an old school steak house where Frank Sinatra and the Rap Pack use to dine. The parking here is small and the restaurant sign, although large is very plain and worn down. Shopping area around here is rundown but everything changes once you're inside. Decor is a very old school, dim lightening, wooden tables and chairs. The service is very attentive and pleasant. I ordered the calamari, snails, cream corn, double baked potato, and the ribeye. Food came out fast. Calamari was dry and I don't recommend ordering. The snails were also okay but honestly not worth the price. Cream corn and potato was interesting but fun to eat. Ribeye was delicious, very tender and juicy. Overall, experience here was good but I don't see myself coming back here anytime soon. Good place to celebrate a birthday (most people here are older, like 45+) or an anniversary.
