What a great park for families to visit. Visited recently on a beautiful sunny day. I recommend visiting around the time your child is learning farm animals because it's a great way for them to make that connection between what they see in books and the real thing. It's also great for older kids (up to age 10 maybe?). They have two nice playgrounds as well for the kids to exert all that energy. There are also demonstrations, such as ice cream making and cheese making. These were a little lackluster as there could have been more educational information given during these presentations. However, they do ask for audience participation which is a bonus for kids. The best part is the opportunity to pet the sheep or the adorable baby cow (I wanted to take Beau home!). It's also nice to enjoy being outside on a farm when you are used to close confines of a city. I heard they have a nice holiday event that sells out fast. And, like another Yelper said, definitely bring a stroller or wagon (although they have some you can rent). They also allow you to bring your food if you want to have a picnic there.
