  • Hmm. Not seeing it. I've been a show boys fan for a couple years now. Their cupcakes are adorable, unique, and both the frosting and the cake address delicious. Perhaps it is my pet peeve all these specialty type bakeries (cookies, cupcakes, doughnuts, etc) who pump out unique great looking products but don't have the base down. I don't care what you glaze a doughnut with, the doughnut itself has to be tasty. What I found here was cool, unique flavors, and great frosting. Not a single cupcake was moist, or flavorful. If I'm getting salted caramel cupcakes, I better be able to tell that is what they are floor 3bucks a pop. I actually had to figure it out via process of elimination on what the more colorful cupcakes were. And we pretty much tried them all. I'm not going to say they were awful by any means, but I guess I'm kinda a confectionary snob since I grew up on homemade everything. These Just didn't do it for me. Cute, yes.. Frosting is amazing (which I guess is why they sell frosting shots) but cake is lackluster.
