| - Reserved a table for 5 at 12:30 on Sunday and was seated within 5 minutes of arrival. We had the La Boulangerie starter, which comes with 4 pastries, (2 croissants, 1 raisin sweet roll and 1 other danish). I had a bite of the raisin danish and croissant, both of which were good. They also brought out two baguette loaves, but I didn't have any, as I didn't want to fill up on any more bread.
For the main course, I ordered the french toast. My jaw dropped when I saw the size of this dish. I wasn't super hungry, so I knew there was no way I was going to be able to finish. That being said, it was one of the best french toast dishes I've had. The brioche just melted in my mouth with every bite. I barely even needed any of the mascarpone or syrup. Unfortunately, I was only able to eat about half of it. I skipped the almond brittle, as I'm not a fan of brittle in general. Others at my table enjoyed it however.
I also ordered the double cut bacon and was not a huge fan. I admit, I had no idea on how thick it would be, as it was much thicker than I was expecting. I'll stick to the old fashioned thin and crispy version in the future.
The service was a bit slow on the water and unlimited champagne refills. Except for the bacon, everyone in my group enjoyed their meals.
