My Mother-in-Law and Father-in-Law came to Las Ventanas at the onset of dementia for Mom. They got their huge apartment, top floor, with a balcony and view of Red Rock Canyon and more. Sadly, only weeks later, Mom had to be transferred to Skilled Nursing (another wing of Las Ventanas) and eventually passed away from complications of Alzheimers. The Skilled Nursing Staff was caring and my Dad-in-Law was able to visit her day-night as the facility was part of the Las Ventanas structure. Years later, he is in Skilled Nursing himself (due to a fall and other healthy problems) and will be moved to assisted living soon (age 94 now). These three stages of life are so comforting to the family.
