  • Was looking forward to eating at Shane's rib shack after seeing so many good reviews. Waited a good 20+ mins for the food to come out and most of it was cold. I had the burger and my wife had the sampler plate. The burger was decent but did not have much flavor. Fries where mediocre. My wife's ribs, chicken and bread where cold. The chicken fingers where crisp, hot and delicious. Now to the actual BBQ sauce.. I'm a huge fan of BBQ! After sitting down I grabbed the tray with there 4 flavors. (Original, honey, spicy, and Carolina mustard) i one by one dabbed the flavors on my finger and was very disappointed.. strong tangy mustard flavor in all of them. They tasted like any ol generic BBQ at most sit down restaurants. I will most likely not be coming back to Shane's any time soon. I left a 2 star rating because the staff was very friendly and welcoming. P.S. if your looking for a wonderful BBQ experience I will recommend Peace And Hominy near down town Belmont about 10-15 mins up the road. They are AMAZING!!!!!!
