The Hop House has a great menu at a great price, especially because they have regular specials on the food. Their appetizers are regularly half price at night and the chicken wings have some fantastic sauces. I'd have to say that the best part is the beer selection, any beer snob will find a few drafts worth exploring, and they rotate in enough new ones to keep me coming. The walls also have plenty of TVs so it's a great place to catch a game. It's a smoking establishment, so if you hate smoke you'd better prepare yourself (there's some booths out of the way of the bar area that you might want to sit at, its generally a bit less smoky there).
This may be a personal rant but I really don't feel like it's fair to snub this place because they allow smokers, if you don't like Asian food you won't like an Asian restaurant, if you don't like smoke, it's fair to say you won't enjoy a smoking establishment. No reason the business should suffer low ratings because they choose to allow something you might not like. In terms of smoking establishments that serve food, which are fewer and fewer in PA, this place is pretty darn nice.
