  • Went to Dove Spa yesterday, to use a Gift Card that my boyfriend gave me for my Birthday. I never go to Spas (unless it is to work in one).. so it really isn't like I have very much to compare it to, but had a facial there, The ambiance was very relaxing .. I would have fallen asleep if it had not been the attendant trying to engage in a conversation with me! :S.. The service I received was overall good.. although having to select an add-on, I unwittingly added a hand and forearm massage ( being a Massage Therapist myself (read: loaded with tension in my hands and forearms).. i was about 100% certain that this "massage' would be far from satisfactory.. and was right, as it did feel a lot more like she was applying lotion to my hands and arms.. Overall nonetheless a good experience, and will be back, since I still have $50 remaining on my Gift Card.. but likely wouldn't pay to go there on my own!
