If you like authentic Chinese food, do not walk but run to Everyday Noodles right now!
My boyfriend and I were craving Asian food after returning from a trip to the Bay Area, and we wanted to try a place we'd never visited. Of course we turned to Yelp to guide us!
It didn't seem like we had a choice but to order the pork soup dumplings ($9). OH. EM. EFFING. GEE. They were amazing. Delicious is not even a word that I can use to describe them, because it's not enough. To me, they tasted almost bacon-y which is a wonderful thing. The broth inside was so flavorful. These are a must-get if you are visiting.
We also ordered Dan Dan Noodles Szechuan Style ($7) and the Hot Spicy Wonton dry noodles ($7). They were both really good, but the Hot Spicy Wonton was definitely my fave. We ordered wide noodles with both of them and I'm glad we did. The noodles were the perfect amount of chewy!
One thing to note about the Dan Dan - it's SUPER peanutty which is a-ok in my book, but it can be overwhelming after a whole dish of them so bear that in mind as you make your choices.
I also had a cup of the green tea, which was perfect as it's a super chilly day out.
All in all, the whole meal ran us under $30 and was so satisfying. I cannot wait to go back!
