I purchased some unlocked phones from bestbuy.com. When I received them, they weren't actually unlocked. The shipping form said I was able to return them to any Best Buy for a refund.
So I went to the store. I went to customer service where the gentleman was very nice and said he would help me. He started scanning things and it was giving him some problems because one of the phones was actually activated. So BIG FAT LIES from the company website. He then apologized and asked if we would mind going to the Mobile Counter and have them do the return. Not a problem.
So I went to the Mobile Counter. There were two ladies working. Each were helping customers. There were two customers waiting in line in front of me. Then one of the employees left. Leaving just one to help every one. So after standing there and waiting for half an hour, it was finally my turn.
The employee asked what was wrong and then asked why I didn't call AT&T and have them unlock the phone. Why should I have to call them to unlock the phone when the company website said they were already unlocked? I just wanted a return. She took the boxes and left, somewhere. Then came back and said she couldn't do the return. No real reason. She told me that I would have to send them back myself and that I wasn't even supposed to return it to the store. She said that they try to accommodate customers and return things but sometimes they can't. So I have to pay for shipping to send an item back because the website lied.
So the website lies, the shipping form lies about being able to return the items to the store, there is not enough help in the store, and I have to pay more money just to get my money back. Bestbuy.com is horrible but the customer service at this store is even worse.
