  • After reading the latest Phoenix Magazine article about the Valley's 21 best sandwiches, myself and two friends tried Switch this past Sunday, 1/10. While this place came hihgly recommend by friends and the magazine, I thought it was average at best. Tried the sandwich in the article, the Murano. Tasty but nothing extraordinary. Certainly not on of the 21 best in the Valley. The side of mac-n-cheese was also average. Friends had the turkey galette and the lobster mac. Both enjoyed them; maybe more than I enjoyed mine. You need to be comfortable eating with strangers at this place as the tables are way too close to one another. For those who like Swicth, if you look up their web site on your mobile device, there is a coupon for free hummus. Won't go back and suggest to Phoenix Magazine readers to replace the Murano with the Frency at the Vig and 40th and Camelback - a MUCH better sandwich.
