| - After a previous review, I received a threatening email from one of the stylist's daughters on Yelp. Never had a retailer threaten me or abuse me in this way. This business should be shut down. I am including the email transcripts of reporting my incidents with the Franchise owner, Stu. He was less than helpful after his employee's daughter began harassing me for my reviews and BBB reports. USE CAUTION WITH THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!!
Owner blames yelp for employee's daughter's harassment and threats. My daughter's eyesight was insulted.
_____________
Stu, (franchise owner)
I am reaching out to you as a follow-up to my past experiences with your salon. I attempted to bring my daughter to your salon to give it another try. We didn't bring the free certificates. I wanted to give you another chance without them. (after my previous yelp review)
The following is the first correspondence I received from this person today:
"Are you like a scam artists or something? It's one thing to write a review about bad service ya know that's normal... but you go to the extreme and even brag about but STILL somehow complain about what you got for free. It's like you go out looking for things to complain about. Do you realize the phony complaints you come up with can ruin people lives. Scam artists should have their faces posted next to theives faces in stores because that's pretty much what they are. It's kinda like you go places with the intention of getting stuff for free. You should really think about what you say about people just because your impossible to satisfy (even after being given free stuff) doesn't mean people working their everyday jobs doing the same thing they do EVERYDAY should have to deal with the wrath of your petty complaints. It's quite ridiculous."
Insulting a child's eyesight is uncalled for, but harassing customers is a new low.

Hi April,
Wow, this has really gotten a little crazy.
You say you and your daughter went in yesterday (Monday) and ended up with Jennifer Cruz again. Well, Jennifer did call me nearly in tears last night when one of her daughters happened to see the negative Yelp review leveled against her mother.
I went on Yelp and saw your complaint but I guess the public can't see any emails. Sorry if it was negative, but I can't control social media. Personally, If I had the power, I would do away with most all of it as I think it does more harm than good and just gives people license to say nasty things whether true or not. Also, please note that Analisia P. does not work for me and, unfortunately, all these websites let anybody jump in and make comments. It's how they make $$$.
I'm a bit at a loss on this one. I would apoligize for bad service from Jenny.
I wish you the best. There are a lot of places to take your disposable income for services and I'm sure you will find a great place to get your family's hair cut.

Stu,
Ok, I'm not sure where you got yesterday, but my daughter did not get her hair cut yesterday. I never said it happened yesterday. This was a few weeks ago, as I mentioned I was going to let it go until I received this harassment from Jennifer's daughter.

April,
I'm sorry that it has come to this. But my ethics are beyond reproach. I have been polite and respectful to you in all our communications.
Regarding social media, like Yelp, you need to realize that it is just an open forum for anyone to say anything. And in this case, Jenny's daughter took offense to you attacking her mother. So she retaliated.....using Yelp. Do I like it? No. Can I control it? No.
I very much dislike Google, Yelp and Twitter in general because people can misuse them and say whatever they want true or untrue. No defense for the businesses who are victims of angry Yelpers.
I really am sorry. We've been in business for over a decade and have thousands of loyal happy customers that come in month after month.
Also I did contact Jenny early this morning and told her that her daughters response was inappropriate. She acknowledged that. But her daughter is an adult who I have no control over.
Stu
Once again, social media at its worst.
