I booked a 1.5 hours tour as a team building exercise for my company. Rod was great warning us not to get ourselves freaked out by the required safety video (which truly was a bit disconcerting but truly nothing to worry about if you don't behave like an fool on the machine). Our tour guide was James Rice the Third - not the first, not the second, but the third (he does an adorable spiel!) with Tremaine assisting our group of 10 plus a sweet couple visiting from MD.
After the safety video, we were taken to a quiet area outside to get acquainted with the Segways and although EVERYONE felt nervous we quickly caught on and away we went.
The tour was entertaining, with fun tidbits about the city and its history and a good balance of hurrying up to get everything crammed in at 12 mph and leisure to take pics and enjoy the sights. We learned some really cool things about the city and all of my co-workers not only had a blast but felt comfortable at our varying paces of speed demon to nervous granny.
I would absolutely go again and definitely request James as my guide. I'm told not only is there the tour we went on, but a ghost tour and a food tour. I'll be back :)
