AZ hardwood floors installed upstairs hardwoord floors and stairs for us in Nov. 2015. - they were easy to work with and open to some creative options we wanted for our stair risers (I prepped the risers and they installed them). Installers were polite and clean and obviously experienced. We installed the baseboards; only in one small place was the gap between flooring and drywall a little to big to cover with standard base - some color matched caulk took care of it. Had to do a glue install as we had OSB subfloors upstairs.
I wasn't quite prepared for the amount of rubber mallet hammering involved - definitely think about pictures. We also found out we had some rusty drywall nails in the garage when the overhead hammering on the second story knocked the drywall off of them (rusty nails = bad mud adhesion).
I'm glad for the recommendation to use hand-scraped planks - it's masked the couple of furniture related dents so far.
