  • I had been a customer for many years. Another trash service sent me an offer in the mail that was much lower priced than what I was paying. After contacting Republic about getting price rate match, or at least a lower price, they would not come close. I cancelled my service. It took them an extra week from what they told me originally to pick up the can. Then, when I looked at the final bill online (they didn't bother to mail it to me), I see that I was charged $22 for them to pick up the can! (I was charged a fee for them to drop it off when I first signed up for service as well) They stick it to you both coming and going! This is just WRONG! Then, to top it off, I get charged for the whole month worth of service even though my service was cancelled on the 15th! The new company did not charge ANY fee to drop off the cans and it is almost 1/2 the price! I will NEVER use Republic again and will tell everyone I know not to!
