| - My wife and I waited 3 hours for this sh*t, and was it the worth the three hour wait?! Hell nah, but it's just one of those places that you gotta knock-off on your list of Vegas eats.
Don't get me wrong, it was good. Their signature pan roast was solid, and it had generous amounts of shrimp, lobster, and crab. It tasted like a more "tomato-y" version of a Tikka Masala. The soup itself is pretty heavy. At times, it feels like you're souping on straight up butter. Expect to KTFO after eating this. The combination gumbo was the highlight for me and just a very well rounded dish. The okra added an element of earthiness to it, and the Andouille sausage enhanced the heat and flavor. It also had plenty of seafood in it. We also tried raw clams on the shell for the first time (besides having it as Mirugai sushi before). However, I had to dose it in cocktail sauce, horseradish, and Tabasco, because it was way too fishy for my enjoyment.
Overall, it was good, but it's crazy that people wait in line for hours for this stuff. I guess that makes us crazy, but I don't think we will put ourselves through getting roasted by that line again for that pan roast. If we're ever up and awake at 2 am on a Tuesday, maybe then we'll decide to come back.
