I took my cat here because she was throwing up, and she never throws up, so I was a little worried. They were able to squeeze me in at 4:40 the same day before the ER vet took over at 5pm and the price for just a visit went up 20 dollars from $55 to $75. I was very grateful for that.
The waiting room appears to be clean and the staff helped me right away. However, I was a little confused as to what they needed from me (if anything) since my pet was a new patient. We were taken back into an exam room fairly quickly and given a basic info sheet to fill out.
The vet came in and attempted to exam my cat. I only say this b/c my cat is a terror. I really felt bad for Dr. Scott. He tried to feel her tummy for obstructions and my cat just pissed up a storm. She isnt declawed so after that he seemed to keep his distance from her, lol. He offered to do labwork, xrays, etc but basically told me it was ok to wait and see how she did over the weekend. He did offer so anti-nauseau pills, which we paid $5 for and they did seem to help.
The exam was $55 + $5 for pills = $60. I think it was fair overall for what they charged. The staff was very nice and helpful. The doctor was knowledgable and was not trying to push extra services that were not needed.
Probably going to start taking my cat here for regular check ups. Also, they signed her up for online pet records. It is called Pet Portal and you can view all your pets info there. Very cool idea.
