| - You won't love David's Bridal. At least not this location.
I had an appointment for two of my bridesmaids to try on dresses last Sunday. When we arrived, the sales associate who was booked to help us was running late. That's okay, it happens. We were guided over to take a look at a poster to pick out some dresses until she arrived. My bridesmaids picked a handful, only to be informed that the entire bottom row of dresses depicted on the poster was not available in-store. That would have been nice to know beforehand. I don't think it's too out-of-line for me to say that each and every sales associate should know what is and is not available in-store.
My bridesmaids then proceeded to pick out additional dresses to try on from the racks, each picking different styles. When settled in the fitting room area, the sales associate did not bring two of each dress for both of my bridesmaids to try, and not even one of each dress in some instances. Additionally, she did not offer to help with zippers, snaps, or clasps, let alone suggest any additional styles for my bridesmaids to try on. Then, at one point, she just left and never returned. We were never informed of the process for purchasing and ordering gowns, timelines, etc. Apparently, as a bride, I have a "profile" that can be used to store information on preferences, etc., yet we were not informed of this until we were on our way out the door and had already taken pictures of the tags of dresses we were potentially interested in.
Aside from horrible service (if you can even call it service), this store is just gross. The carpets are stained, the decor is outdated, and every single dress my friends tried on was broken in some way, shape, or form, be it a clasp, a zipper, or a missing hook or snap. I realize these dresses get tried on a lot, but it doesn't speak much for David's Bridal's commitment to quality. When samples break, you should really consider investing in replacements.
After our experience last weekend, and after reading some of the other reviews about this location, I am oh-so-thankful I did NOT purchase my wedding gown from David's Bridal.
