| - I just moved to Vegas a few weeks ago and I've been craving sushi and sashimi for a while. Coming from California and being near the coast, I was hesitant about trying seafood in a desert state. How fresh can the seafood be? Goyemon surprised me.
FOOD:
Lunch and dinner menus offer appetizers, sushi, rolls, sashmi, salads, udon, and combinations. Main entree's range from $9-15 on average. They also offer an all you can eat option at lunch and dinner prices. I ordered the SS combination which includes 7 slices of sashimi and California roll. The combination includes miso soup, salad, and rice.
QUALITY:
Fresh. I've had California roll where the seaweed had odd fishy flavor and chewy pieces of sashimi, but not here. Every slice of fish melted in my mouth.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
I ordered to go but received friendly service over the phone.
ENVIRONMENT:
The restaurant appeared to be busy and lively. The place is medium sized with a sushi bar.
Overall, I'm coming back!
