  • I'll sum it all up for you in one sentence before I get into detail: If you can't get into the VIP/invited line, then don't bother going. My group consisted of 3 girls and 1 other guy...not the typical 3:1 ratio, but luckily during the daytime the 3 girls got onto the guestlist while walking around the strip. It was Saturday so you know it's packed everywhere (except at the poor excuse for a club at T.I.), which explains why we chose to come here (I was only down in vegas for 24hrs and waiting in a line elsewhere didn't seem like a good idea). We got here around 11ish close to 12 and there was a HUGE line for general admission (a good hour wait?)...didn't really understand that since I don't even consider this to be a great club. We found our promoter (Mark I believe) and he placed us into the VIP line instantly, which was pretty funny since aside from one other person...it was just us. We waited for less than 5mins and got in so no complaints there. As soon as I got in the first thing that came to mind was: damn, ghetto like a LA club. It's ghetto in the sense that: 1) The place was pretty small (3 rooms supposedly but the main one was pretty small) 2) People actually smoked inside this tiny place (wtf.) 3)Dress code was not that important (saw all kinds of different clothing) 4)One of the bartenders was prego (and PMSing I believe) 5)There were some pretty weird people (a fat guy dressed as Elvis and a bunch of creepers) BUT I'm not docking stars or anything for the ghetto-ness. You should already know this place is ghetto compared with other clubs like XS and Tao. Music was probably Top40, but mainly hip-hop was being played which was a pretty good thing since that whole techno/house music crap isn't clubbing material. Although I feel a bit racist even mentioning this, I feel it's my duty to inform you that this club consist of 85% Hispanics, 14% blacks/whites, and about 1% Asians. I swear, the entire time I was there, I saw only about 5 other asian people and they were only maybe asian (too dark couldn't see too well). Dance floor was pretty small, but it was busy and everyone was dancing and having a good time. Maybe I never paid close attention before, but holy crap there were a lot of creepers. Now I know there's some in every club, but let me define my definition of creepers. Creepers aren't those guys that come up behind you and starts dancing (that's normal). Creepers are ones that looked old as hell, wearing ridiculous clothing (i.e. a French hat with baggy shirt and jeans), and his definition of dancing was basically just thrusting behind you. Yes, that guy was there, and yes he danced behind one of my friends. Being a guy, it takes a lot for me to call some guy a creeper but I literally had to pry that fool off of my friend (pretty much elbowed him in the stomach for him to get the point). Aside from that, everything was pretty decent. Drinks were a bit pricey (paid 17 for a jagerbomb), but I think that's just because it's vegas. Ladies drink free before 12am, and the bartenders were pretty friendly and fast. Tables here surrouded the dance floor, but it doesn't really give off that "I'm a baller because I just tossed hundreds for a bottle of goose and a place to sit" feeling so I wouldn't blow my money on that here, but if you don't get a table there's virtually no where to sit. Overall it was a pretty good night, but this place just isn't worth waiting in line for.
